Uganda Media Women’s Association (UMWA), an umbrella of female journalists in Uganda suggests that reflection on stakeholder key roles, functions and responsibilities would address the existent deficiencies.
Now that I know how powerful I can be in fighting injustices, I believe I am going to do better and make Uganda a better place to stay. I shall start by ensuring that the stories I do especially about Gender based violence are covered to the last detail and shall do follow up till justice is served. I shall no longer stop at covering or exposing an incident.
The Observer Team on December 12, 2016 wrote about Namuganza-Nantaba’s “ugly quarrel” in the story titled “Ministers in ugly quarrel”. The publication gave space to both females to accuse and counter accuse each other, creating the image of two women who cannot stand each other.
