Guided by our vision and mission, UMWA works within a 3-year strategic plan and some of the projects we have embarked on and/or accomplished include the following:

Mama FM, a community development women focused radio

A project aimed at promoting gender sensitive reporting

UMWA has published and unpublished studies/guides

We organize national and international trainings/conferences on topical issues

Capacity building trainings for women journalists on relevant themes

The Other Voice publication that aims at increasing the voices of women in the media
